概要
2023-05-05に「分散SNSの誕生15周年 | GNU social JP」の記事を投稿しました。その後、「The Roundup – episode 19 – The Fediverse Report」などで、投稿ベースだと2008-05-18 Thuが15周年で、どちらかというと第一投稿を誕生日とみなす意見が多いようなので、記録目的で紹介します。
内容
GNU socialの著者でActivityPubの共同著者のEvan Prodoromou (速報: 分散SNS/Fediverseの親Evan Prodromouの分散SNSへの復帰 | GNU social JP) が以下の投稿をしていました。

2008-05-18 Thuが世界初の分散SNSサーバーidenti.caの第一投稿でした。当初、GNU socialだったidenti.caはその後pump.ioに移植され、URLも変更になりました。当初はリダイレクトが機能していたようですが、その後機能しなくなったようです。
現在のidenti.caのpump.ioは現在のActivityPubのベース実装であり、ActivityStreamsのプロトコルを採用しています。こちらのAtivityPubへ対応したいという意思を表明していました。
