Blueskyにブロック機能が搭載されたと告知があったので紹介します。
2023-04-29の以下の公式アカウントの投稿群で告知されていました。
You needed blocks. We cleared our calendars to finish building out blocks. Blocking has shipped to Bluesky web app users and will be available in mobile shortly (version 1.25, when it passes App/Play Store review — hopefully tomorrow morning). You can access this feature now at staging.bsky.app.
Blocks may or may not work on third-party clients in the short term. Some amount of blocking functionality will work, but because this is a protocol-level change, it will require coordination to get it working across the ecosystem.
Important: Similar to your likes, your block list is public data! While users of the Bluesky app can’t easily find this list now, the data is public and enumerable at the protocol level. This means that third-party apps or clients can surface and display your list.

Webアプリはこの日に実装済みで、公式のiOS/Androidアプリはv1.25から対応とのことです。ブロック機能はプロトコルレベルでの機能変更のため、サードパーティークライアントは対応するまで機能しないとのことです。
その他、ブロックリストはいいねと同じく公開データで、Web UI上からは見えませんが、プロトコルレベルではアクセス可能なので、サードパーティーアプリがリスト表示することは可能とのことです。
「Blueskyへのアカウント登録 | GNU social JP」で紹介した通り、Blueskyにはミュート機能は当初から存在していたものの、ブロック機能はありませんでした。既存SNSには搭載されている待望の機能の搭載でした。
なお、「分散型SNS「Bluesky」のユーザー数が急増中。Twitterフォロワー数180万のDrilなど著名人も流入 | テクノエッジ TechnoEdge」などで報道がある通り、2023年4月末に著名人が次々にBlueskyに登録して、ユーザー数が4万人を超過したそうです。
機能やユーザー数が拡充されて、正式リリースに向けて着実に進んでいる感じがあります。続報に注意します。
