なお、このタイミングで登録ユーザー数が500万人に到達したそうです。
詳細は後述しますが、「bluesky-social/pds:Bluesky PDS (Personal Data Server) container image, compose file, and documentation」が連合用のPDS実装になっており、現状は早期アクセスとしてDiscordで参加リクエストを送信することで、ネットワークに参加可能になっています。

本日、Blueskyネットワークが連携し、独自のデータをホスト可能でオープン化されたことを発表します。
連合により、最初に登録したサーバーでの情報を、他のデータプロバイダーに移管が可能になります。今回公開した連合のバージョンは、自己ホスト者を対象としています。ただし、スムーズに移行できるようにいくつかのガードレールを設けています。今後、大規模サーバーの運営希望者向けの連合を解放します。詳細は「Early Access Federation for Self-Hosters | Bluesky」です。
