前回: 機能: ThreadsのActivityPubでの一部ユーザーの投稿購読開始と今後の予定 | GNU social JP Web。

先日「機能: ThreadsのEU対応、ActivityPub対応のテスト開始、Webアプリの絵文字検索、ファクトチェック予告 | GNU social JP Web」で紹介した通り、大型更新があったばかりのThreadsです。その際に発表が漏れていたAPI経由での投稿が成功したとの報告があったので紹介します。

one update that that was lost in all the exciting launches last week – we had our first successful posts created via the Threads API! im looking forward to expanding access to more partners/indie devs, there’s so many cool threads integrations that will come to life with the API.congrats to @twopar @marvin.myliu @not_real_md @rklambo and many more for getting this out. its early, but whether its via ActivityPub or API, we will continue to make progress towards being an open platform ??

先週の大型更新時の段階で、Threads APIを経由した投稿が成功したそうです。今後サードパーティーに提供予定とのことです。ActivityPubの他にオープンAPIにも対応して、オープンプラットフォームに向かっていくとのことでした。

貢献したメンバーがメンションで紹介されていました。

we went with a traditional REST API to start because that’s where most of our integrations would benefit from.curious though – what benefits are there to building a client-server activitypub api (aside from enabling 3rd party clients)?

今回のAPI対応に対して、Evan ProdromouがActivityPub APIの直対応を希望していると返信したところ、まずは従来のREST APIしたとのことです。

まだ一般解放はされていませんが、Threadsの開発ペースは速いので、このペースだと1-2か月内程度でAPIが公開されるのではないかと思います。APIが公開されると、私の投稿引用もだいぶ楽になります。私もこれは期待したいです。
