概要

前回、Tumblrの運営の大幅縮小について紹介し、これが実質的なActivityPub対応の終了ではないか？と紹介しました。その後、ActivityPub対応は継続するとの続報があったので紹介します。
2023-12-11 Monに「Tumblr’s ‘fediverse’ integration is still being worked on, says owner and Automattic CEO Matt Mullenweg | TechCrunch」と以下の投稿群で報道されていました。

My personal take is that Matt is probably waiting it out on Meta implementing activitypub; how/if/when thats gonna happen. So that if it happens and is a success, Tumblr can fairly quickly join as well, and if it doesnt happen or with a lousy response, not much resources have been spend on it yet
